El Dorado Engineering (EDE) is a full service consulting/design firm providing solutions to environmental problems across the world. EDE specializes in environmental challenges involving explosives and pyrotechnics contamination and munitions demilitarization.
Among the founders of EDE, over thirty-two years of professional experience in environmental and RCRA permitting areas, including the design of specialized pollution control systems for hazardous waste incinerators and a variety of specialized thermal treatment/Subpart X Miscellaneous units. Has participated in a wide variety of environmental activities on over 30 RCRA Part B Permits and Superfund sites, including system design, permit preparation, installation and start-up, trial burn plan preparation and testing, remediation and site investigation.
Established in 1981, El Dorado Engineering (EDE) is a small business with the flexibility to meet the clients needs.
EDE personnel's experience spans the entire history of chemical demilitarization (demil) from the M34 cluster bomb disposal in the 1960's, up to the current disposal plants. EDE professionals were the original designers of the prototype equipment developed for the United States Chemical Demilitarization program. We provide engineering services to CAMDS, TOCDF, and Pine Bluff. Our technical work has included M-55 rocket segmenting, pull apart machines, chemical agent removal, energetics disposal, and agent contaminated ventilation control.
EDE prepares complete RCRA Part B hazardous waste permit applications. We specialize in Subpart O (incineration) and Subpart X (Miscellaneous units such as open burning and contained treatment).
