Description
El Tomaria Farm has been in operation since 1968. Owners Tom and Mary Uelsmann fell in love with the Colombian Paso Fino Horse a year earlier after a trip to Meridian Meadows by gracious invitation of Dave Jones. Mary says that after a few trips around the arena on Guala (mother of Resorte III) Tom was grinning from ear to ear and she knew they would be coming home with some Pasos. Their first five horses included the mares Venus and La India with the colt Decius Que Tal by her side. Decius figured prominently into El Tomaria's breeding program. Two years later, after attending their first National Show, they were able to add the outstanding yearling, Faldero Que Tal to their farm. Faldero was a son of Guala and therefore, brother to Resorte III.
