We'd like to share with you a few facts that we have found interesting through the years: - The complete English vocabulary consists of almost one million words, yet only 3,000 words make up 95 percent of all verbal expression. - The ten most spoken languages in the world are: - Mandarin - English - Spanish - Russian - Hindi - Arabic - Portuguese - Bengali - German - Japanese - When we think of Spanish speaking countries, we usually think of Spain & South America, but we leave out Guinea Equatorial, which is located on the West coast of Africa with a population of half a million. - The US has the 5th largest Spanish speaking population in the world. Only Mexico, Spain, Colombia and Argentina have more. - The word Hispanics is a form of the word Hispania, which is the Latin name for Spain.
