Eleanor Volunteer Fire Department

Description

In August of 1962, the Eleanor Volunteer Fire Department was granted the authority to construct a Fire Station. Since this time, the Eleanor Fire Department has stood and protected this community and assisted other fire departments in protection as well. Through the years, many fire fighters have come and gone, but much of the tradition and desire that founded this department still remains today. As generations have passed, so has the duties of protecting our area. Currently, we have second and third generation fire fighters now dedicated to saving life and property just as their fathers did and grandfathers.
