Electrical Protection

Description

Bill Petersen has over 35 years experience working with, consulting on, and teaching electrical protection applications. He held numerous engineering staff positions with U.S. West Communications (Qwest) and Bell Communication Research. In past years he was a voting member/subject matter expert of ANSI electrical protection standards and a subject matter expert in the Protection Engineers Group (PEG) of the Exchange Carriers Standards Association. He has authored and/or taught many technical courses to over 4,000 students covering telecommunication transmission, electrical protection, noise mitigation, and high voltage protection (HVP). For the past 12 years he has established a reputable client base as President of Protection Technologies Inc.
