J.P. Errico Founder, Principal Investor and CEO of ElectroCore He received his aeronautical engineering degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and holds both law and mechanical/materials engineering graduate degrees from Duke University. Mr. Errico trained as a patent attorney in New York, and is the author of a treatise on international intellectual property law. He has founded a number of medical device companies, including Fastenetix, Third Millennium Engineering, K2 Medical, and SpineCore. He served as the CEO of SpineCore from the inception of the company through to its sale to Stryker for $360 million in July 2004. Subsequent to the acquisition of SpineCore, Mr. Errico served as the General Manager of Stryker ® Spine's Motion Preservation Unit. He was named the second most prolific spine inventor according to the MedicineLodge™ 2001 Spinal Implant Intellectual Property Report. He is an inventor of several of the company's key patents and it is expected that he will continue to assist in the conception, development, and clinical validation of the company's products and their indications. John T. Raffle Chief Operating Officer Prior to joining ElectroCore, John spent over ten years with ArthroCare Corporation, most recently as Senior VP and GM of Strategic Business Units. John has extensive experience evaluating and managing intellectual properties both for ArthroCare, as IP Counsel and General Counsel, and earlier as a practicing Patent Attorney for Townsend and Townsend. In addition to his duties as COO of ElectroCore, John has held the position of COO at EndoCore LLC since 2009. He received his degree in Aeronautical Engineering from MIT and graduated from Duke Law School with a JD in 1993.
