Electronic Design Company has a long and distinguished history in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area and in the upper Midwest. Founded in 1955, Electronic Design is one of the original sound and communications contractors in the Twin Cities area. Throughout the 1960s and early 1970s the company grew in the rapidly expanding sound communications and telephone interconnection markets.

Understanding our clients' goals and executing effective solutions is Electronic Design Company's number one priority. Electronic Design provides quality professional solutions that meet or exceed our industry's exacting standards. We offer our customers a wide range of services including custom design, start-to-finish consultation, system engineering and documentation, installation and integration, system training, project management, and service and maintenance after the sale.

Electronic Design Company has over fifty years of experience doing system integration and installation. Our installation department has technicians and installers that have received factory training in programming and installation of the products we integrate into systems every day. EDC's crew has experience installing a wide range of systems, from large audio and video systems to nurse call, supervised paging and IP-based delivery systems. Electronic Design Company is a union shop and many of our employees have Power Limited Technician licenses.

EDC has provided supervised paging, performance audio, video and classroom sound reinforcement to hundreds of schools for over 50 years. School projects include supervised paging at Edina Schools, performance audio at Minnetonka High School, design and installation of performance audio at South and Southwest High Schools and paging and performance audio at Farmington High School.
