KENNEWICK, WA --- June 2, 2011 --- Electronic Systems Technology, Inc. (OTCQB: ELST), dba ESTeem Wireless Modems (ESTeem), has been named Manufacturer of the Year in the small business category by Seattle Business Magazine. The 2011 Washington Manufacturing Award winners were announced at an awards dinner hosted by Seattle Business Magazine the evening of May 25th. The event was attended by 230 manufacturers from Washington State.

EST was founded in 1982, by T.L. Kirchner, President, as an electronic engineering consulting firm that specialized in instrumentation/control and new product development. In 1983, the company started the development of its own products with the ESTeem wireless modem. In November 1984, EST became a public-held company with the completion of its initial stock offering, which raised $900,000 with the sale of three million shares of common stock. The final design of the ESTeem wireless modem was completed in late 1984 and field tested in the first quarter of 1985.

The ESTeem Wireless Modems has been involved in the industrial automation market for over 30 years. We have taken great steps to provide communication to industrial controllers that are located in inaccessible areas, mobile or to eliminate in-plant wiring.
