Description
The Elk Grove Police Department's Volunteers are an important part of the team and we are truly grateful for all of their devoted service. Our Volunteers allow us to provide an even higher level of prompt, courteous to all the citizens of Elk Grove. Applicants must be 18 years old, unless specified. All applicants must pass a background check. A record of criminal misdemeanors and/or felony violations or other infractions of the law may be disqualifying. We request a commitment of a minimum of 4 hours per week. Our Volunteers are currently participating in the following programs: Community Partnerships - Neighborhood Crime Watch, Business Crime Watch, Special Events, Community Emergency Response Team
