Ellis Erosion Control Systems, Inc. got its start as The Stephen B. Ellis Company in 1967 when Stephen B. Ellis "retired" as a rancher and began a seeding / erosion control company based in Provo, Utah. In 1988, his son Kelly T. Ellis began working with his father. To accomodate the change in control from father to son, Ellis Erosion Control Systems, Inc. was formed in Utah. Since 1995, Kelly T. Ellis has been the lead contractor and all around "go to" guy with the Company.
