Ellison Property Management, Incorporated is a full service professional property management company. We provide property management services to individual investors, partnerships, corporations, lending institutions and developers. We also serve as leasing agents for several residential and commercial investors. Denver L. Ellison, CPM Emeritus started Ellison Property Management in 1976 as a separate, full time management division of his real estate sales company. As the property management division continued growth through the 1980’s it became necessary to separate the operations of the company from the real estate sales company. Therefore, in 1992 Ellison Property Management, Incorporated was formed. We are located at 2233-B SE Ft. King Street, Ocala, FL 34471. Denver L. Ellison, CPM Emeritus sold the company in 1998 to Dwayne L. Carlton, CPM but remains involved with management of real estate investments. We are the only property management company in North Central Florida that has two Certified Property Managers affiliated with the company. We have five licensed real estate professionals on staff. The combined experience of the founder and current owner exceeds 55 years and combined with staff totals 75 years. Professional memberships include the Institute of Real Estate Management and affiliate memberships with the Florida Association of Realtors. Our portfolio consists of residential and commercial properties. We manage and/or act as leasing agents for several hundred thousand square feet of commercial space in multiple properties. Our commercial portfolio consists of professional office buildings, retail and warehouse properties ranging from multi-tenant 1,200 square foot properties up to individual buildings of several thousand square feet. We act as facility managers for a local bank that has seven locations ranging from 3,100 square feet up to 17,500 square feet. Our residential rental portfolio consists of apartments and homes and exceeds 750 rental units. We have experience with all property types in this market and offer the full array of management services. Dwayne L. Carlton, CPM has also served as a Receiver in foreclosure cases. Our Receivership experience covers all types of residential and commercial properties. Our company believes in giving back to the community and has supported many community causes and organizations through volunteer leadership, sponsorships and in kind donations. We strongly believe that the community needs to have a vibrant economy in order for the properties we manage to have the most success. Few, if any other management companies show this commitment to the health of the Ocala/Marion County market. Ellison Property Management, Incorporated is a member of the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce where Dwayne L. Carlton, CPM was the 2002 Chairman of the Board of Directors and is a Lifetime Member. We are members of the Ocala/Marion County Economic Development Council and Dwayne L. Carlton, CPM currently serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee as Vice President - Properties. Dwayne L. Carlton, CPM was a founding member of the Heart of Florida Regional Coalition. Carlton has served on the Executive Committee of the Marion County Water Resource Assessment and Management Study and served as Chairman of the Marion County Aquifer and Spring Protection Task Force as well as serving on an advisory committee for the Southwest Florida Water Management District. Carlton has served on many committees and task forces ranging from environmental issues to land development regulations to downtown development. Our involvement is evidenced by being the only real estate management company to be featured in both the 2004 Publication “Ocala / Marion County, A Way of Life” and the 2007 Publication “Historic Ocala, A Story of Ocala & Marion County”. Our leadership in the local real estate management field as well as leadership in community issues prepares us to provide unrivaled insight and local market knowledge to our customers.
