For nearly 20 years, ELMS has created unique and beautiful puzzles that entertain and delight the puzzling community. Today ELMS makes the highest quality puzzles, using artwork by some of the most famous artists in the country, some international. Each specially trained cutter crafts each puzzle one piece at a time. Our cutters take great pride in their technique and creativity; they have lots of cutting tricks and are always coming up with new ones to make your puzzling more fun. Our products, future heirlooms, are well worth sharing with your family and friends. Named after her initials, ELMS was started by the late Elizabeth Lee McShane Stuart - Betsy for short - nearly 20 years ago. Having a life-long addiction to puzzling after growing up with wonderful wooden puzzles hand-made by an uncle, Betsy began ELMS with a single scroll saw and the desire to make clever heirloom puzzles herself. Betsy grew ELMS Puzzles into a successful puzzle crafting shop spotlighted by both local and national media, all while living and working with cancer. Today, under the leadership of her husband, Fred Stuart, ELMS Puzzles continues to live up to its reputation of creating quality and innovative heirloom puzzles. Betsy's unique courage, strength, and humor is a part of each and every puzzle.
