As a co-founder and CAO, Michael’s focus is on contractual agreements, rigorous operational procedures and managerial oversight, which has enabled the company to deliver high quality service to Emcon’s client base. Michael has over 30 years’ experience in the facility management and construction industries, including landscape architecture, real estate development, home building, commercial remodeling and construction management.

As Emcon’s CFO, Cosmo is viewed as the financial gatekeeper, with primary responsibilities for managing the financial risks of the corporation. Under Cosmo’s leadership, his finance team performs the duties of financial planning and record-keeping, as well as financial reporting for the organization. As the CFO, Cosmo has expanded and evolved to a strategic partner and advisor to the CEO. Cosmo has more than 35 years’ experience in finance and accounting, with over 25 years combined experience in retail with such companies as Barnes & Noble, Home Depot and The Vitamin Shoppe.

As a co-founder and CEO, Michael’s visionary management style has led Emcon to positive growth every year since 1987, notably ranking as the 185th fastest growing privately held company as listed by Inc. Magazine. Michael has extensive facility management and logistical services experience. Prior to establishing Emcon, Michael was the founder of Edgebrook Construction, a full service renovation and Construction Company which built quality homes in the Ocean County area of New Jersey.

As the Director of Human Resources, Jane assists Emcon in not only attracting but retaining many of the industry’s superior customer service staff. Jane has over 25 years of human resource and employee benefits experience. Prior to working at Emcon, Jane worked for over 16 years as an Outsourcing Client Manager for Mercer HR Outsourcing, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan. Jane managed large groups of pension and benefits specialists as well as call center staff. With her direction, her staff coordinated benefit functions for many Fortune 500 clients.
