American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is designed to develop and enhance the skills of pediatric Healthcare Providers necessary to manage critically ill infants and children resulting in improved outcomes. Course contents include: recognition and treatment of infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest; systematically approach pediatric assessments; effective respiratory assessment; defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion; intraosseous access and fluid bolus administration; and effective resuscitation team dynamics. All Courses require registration. -Payment is due a minimum of 5 business days for initial courses prior to the scheduled class date and 2 business days for renewal courses prior to the scheduled class date. -PALS Initial Provider Course includes student required textbook. Cost $250.00 -PALS Renewal Provider Renewal Course does not include student textbook. Cost $200.00 -All participants must have AHA student required textbook. Renewing participants needing a textbook may purchase one for an additional fee. EMR will travel to private locations for onsite training.
