What can I expect from an Acupuncture Treatment?After your Traditional Chinese Medicine interview and pattern diagnosis, you will have a specific treatment tailored to fit your case. The acupuncturist will insert sterile thin needles into points on surface of your skin. The needles remain in place anywhere from a few seconds to up to 40 minutes. You will relax and lie still during the treatment. The acupuncturist may manually stimulate the needles or use electrical stimulation, cupping or Moxibustion. After the treatment your acupuncturist may suggest a Chinese Herbal formula if it would be helpful.
