The Emerson Hospital Department of Pharmacy Services is a progressive practice site for pharmacists, technicians, interns and students committed to improving patient safety. It is a highly collaborative environment where you’ll work closely with physicians, nurses and other staff members to provide patients with the highest quality care. Our facility features a state-of-the-art sterile prep suite, computerized order entry and robotics. Systems such as medication dispensing and parenteral nutrition compounding are automated, with many more process improvements slated for the near future.

Ms. Battaglini works with the hospital's Board of Directors to develop the structures, processes and policies that enhance the board's ability to lead the organization effectively. She also leads special project assignments. She has been a senior vice president in health care strategic planning for over 25 years, working at multi-hospital systems in the Boston area at Hallmark Health and at United Health Services in Binghamton, NY. She has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Harpur College in Binghamton and a master’s degree in accounting from Binghamton University.

Geared toward adults who have undergone a change in health status, this program consists of two sessions with a certified occupational therapist. The first session is a clinical evaluation.
