Our attorneys have extensive “big firm” experience gained through years of employment practice with California’s largest and most prestigious law firms. This experience gives EMC 2 a sophistication and knowledge base in employment law not typically found at smaller firms.

We understand that most HR professionals and administrators have a limited budget for legal services, yet employee relations issues are a never ending source of work. One of the reasons EMC 2 was founded was to provide clients with timely access to our legal services; we believe access not only means being able to reach us when you need guidance, but also being economically accessible.

Employment Matters Counseling & Consulting, or EMC 2 , is a small “boutique” firm that provides employment-related legal counseling services to a wide variety of clients for the full range of employment issues. EMC 2 has broad experience in advising individuals and companies of all sizes, from small start-ups to mature public corporations.

EMC 2 has broad experience in advising employers from small start-ups to with all aspects of the employment relationship; providing strategic advice to executives both in the hiring and separation process; and training clients on good employment practices and legal obligations. In addition, all four of our partners have significant experience conducting workplace investigations and have been engaged by many national and multi-national law firms to conduct investigations on behalf of their clients.
