Eddie McGowan is Vice President of European Operations for Empowered Performance, LLC, a worldwide management education and consulting firm with over 20 years of management experience in the UK, Europe, and the United States, Eddie has earned an impressive record for helping companies develop and implement strategies for peak performance.

Referred to by his friends and many of his clients as “The Professional Provoker”, Michael has over 38 years of experience in manufacturing and business management. Prior to forming Empowered Performance, LLC he was the Senior Vice President of Buker Inc., a worldwide management education and consulting firm. He has also been responsible for the development and conduct of customer education classes for a major division of the Xerox Corporation. He has authored over 75 articles on business improvement and has been a contributing author for the APICS Production and Inventory Handbook.

Eddie is an industry veteran with over 25 years operational experience gained with IBM and Compaq Computers and more than 10 years as a management consultant. His industry experience embraced a range of management roles, latterly at a senior level, including being a member of the senior staff management team at Compaq reporting directly to the MD. His industry management roles include Training & Development, PR & Communications, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality Conformance (ISO9002) and Internal Audit.
