Since 1991, Encore Travel has provided innovative services, and breakthrough pricing to thousands of satisfied customers throughout the US and Canada. Our business has always been conducted by phone, fax and email. Privately held and located in Northern California, the company was founded by Marina Salzman, a telecommunications engineer and product marketing professional at IBM. We were the first agency in the west coast to popularize tours of Russia, Ukraine, Siberia, Central Asia and Eastern Europe. We still provide river tours on the Volga, Rhine and other major European waterways. Our uniqueness derives from the many years of operation, when we established operating relationships with trusted suppliers in all these locations. The company began its operations before the take over of the White House (Parliament) in Moscow, and has lived through the changes that led to the CIS.
