Fundoplication procedures have been used to effectively treat patients with GERD for over 50 years. TIF differs from a traditional fundoplication procedure because it is performed through the mouth rather than through laparoscopy or open abdominal incisions. Using the EsophyX device, transoral fundoplication can achieve a 270° valve of 2-3cm in length.

Jordan is a founder and Managing Partner of Radius Ventures, LLC, a venture capital firm focused on expansion stage and growth equity investments in the health and life sciences industry. Over the past 25 years, Jordan has founded, advised and/or invested in over 50 innovative healthcare, med-tech and life sciences companies.

Dr. Jordan has over 27 years of experience in the medical industry with a strong background in vascular disease, oncology and gastroenterology. He has served on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations and is currently serving on the boards of four medical device companies. Dr. Jordan served as a Group President at C.R.

Dr. Lobontiu has more than 18 years experience in surgical practice and 17 years experience in the medical device industry. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Surgeons (SAGES), member of the French Surgery Association (AFC) and member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).

Mr. Kleine has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry. He joined EndoGastric Solutions from Biosensors International Group, Ltd., a publicly traded company in the interventional cardiology and critical care markets where he served as President and CEO. Prior to Biosensors, Mr. Kleine was President and CEO of MicroVention, a start-up focused on minimally invasive treatment of cerebral brain aneurysms, which was acquired by Terumo. Additional executive experience includes President and CEO roles with Thermo Cardiosystems Inc. and Sorin Biomedical Inc.
