Energy Economics Inc. (EEI) is a diverse company specializing in products and services for the natural gas industry. Founded in 1975 and located in Dodge Center, MN, EEI has over 100 employees in Minnesota and Kentucky. EEI has produced gas meter testing products since 1978, MMS (Meter Management System) since 1986, and GCS (Gas Compliance System) since 2001.

EEI can perform transfer proving of large volume meters on a contract basis for your company. We have experienced personnel who can verify the accuracy and perform maintenance on the meter under test. Typically they perform an initial accuracy test, cleaning, adjusting and replacing worn parts. If the meter needs to be adjusted to come back into spec the technician will do that too. If the meter needs to be repaired then our meter technicians can perform rotor or bearing replacement, oil change, grind valves, replace bushings or gaskets - whatever is required to bring that meter into specifications.

EEI has years of experience in engineering cathodic protection projects. We have designed systems for pipeline companies, municipalities, industrial sites, and storage tank owners. Our personnel are certified by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE).
