Our Canadian subsidiary, was founded in 1927 and has provided quality giftware to Canadian retailers for over 80 years. Our first overseas operation, Enesco Hong Kong Limited, was formed in 1985 as a link for Enesco's market sourcing in Asia. Enesco Limited, our subsidiary in the U.K., was founded in 1995 and is now the largest manufacturer and distributor of giftware in Europe. Enesco's international distribution leads the industry reaching across the globe to over 50 countries.

Enesco's International Headquarters is located in Itasca, Ill. Enesco was founded in 1958 as the import division of N. Shure Company, one of the largest and oldest general merchandise catalog companies. Following N. Shure's sale to Butler Brothers, the import division reorganized as Enesco Corporation, formed from the phonic spellings of the prior parent company's name initials - N.S.Co. Enesco was sold four times, culminating in 2007 when substantially all of Enesco's assets were sold to Tinicum Capital Partners II, LLP, a private investment partnership.

Tom Bowles is responsible for worldwide operations of Enesco and its subsidiaries. Prior to joining Enesco in 2011, Mr. Bowles was chief executive officer of Berkshire Blanket, the nation’s leading designer and marketer of premium quality blankets. Mr. Bowles has extensive experience in the gift industry having been chief executive officer of Decorative Concepts, Inc., a major gift and home products company and chief operating officer of Russ Berrie and Company.
