The Fire, Process and Electrical Practice of Engineering Systems Inc. (ESI) provides clients with Professional Engineers (P.E.), investigators, and technical support experienced in the origin and cause of fire and explosion incidents. Our highly qualified professionals include mechanical, electrical, civil, structural and chemical engineers, and fire investigators. We can be readily deployed for on-site investigations and inspections, documentation, and fact gathering, and can also collect and store critical evidence.
ESI was founded in 1987 by three highly dedicated engineers: Charles R. Morin, P.E., Robert P. O'Shea, Sr., Ph.D., P.E, and Edward W. Holmes, P.E. Today, ESI has grown to include 14 offices in 11 states, spanning office coverage from coast-to-coast. ESI has worked with clients and projects in all 50 states, as well as numerous international locations. ESI has over 160 engineers, scientists, technicians and professional support personnel.
For more than two decades, ESI has leveraged its multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and professional technical staff to investigate many of the major accidents, incidents and disasters experienced in our society. Our technical expertise, hands-on experience, and state-of-the-art facilities, combined with our extensive diagnostic, analytical, and physical testing capabilities, create an ideal environment for quickly identifying and interpreting the facts of a particular problem.
The Electrical Practice Group at Engineering Systems Inc. (ESI) has extensive experience investigating electrical equipment failures. It consists of Professional Engineers (P.E.), engineers, and trained technicians with specific industry experience, as well as advanced electrical engineering degrees, enhanced by corollary areas of certification as it relates to significant portions of the investigative field (e.g., CFI, CFEI, etc.).
The Automotive Practice Group at Engineering Systems Inc. (ESI) is prepared to provide accident investigation and reconstruction for any vehicle accident in the nation. Our multidisciplinary approach brings together engineers, scientists, researchers, technicians, and mechanics to provide the best data and analysis possible. With engineers available at each of our geographically dispersed locations, we are in position to respond to any vehicle accident without delay. Of special interest to many of our clients is our unique, regionally-growing F.A.S.T.
