Founded in 1985 by Jeffrey S. Beyer , ETI pioneered the use of a heat-transfer printing process that makes high-resolution, eight-color surface decoration on plastics practical. As a result of its printing process, ETI helped transform vinyl and other thermoplastics from industrial commodities into decorative fashion materials for window treatments, upholstery, floor tiles, patio furniture, mats, bath and kitchen accessories, footwear and other items.
Jeffrey S. Beyer is the founder and president of Enhancement Technologies Inc. (ETI), the leading supplier of designer print transfers to the plastics industry. Prior to starting ETI in 1985, Beyer worked in the textile industry with J.P. Stevens. While working with Transprint USA, the leading domestic printer of sublimation paper for textiles, Beyer developed the ETI transfer printing process for plastics. He is now expanding his business into decorating various metals.
Finished parts or flat sheets can be decorated with this process. ETI represents in North America a leading manufacturer of dye sublimation equipment, powder booths, and complete powder lines. ETI can also furnish dye sublimation powder for a complete dye sublimation decoration package.
