Enporion, now a certified veteran-owned company , was founded in 2000 by seven Fortune 500 companies. The intent of the founders in forming the company was twofold. First was to leverage their buying power by using Enporion as a group sourcing company. Second was to use the Enporion e-marketplace as a shared service.
