Formed in 1962, Entec has over 50 years of experience in the filament winding industry. In 1999, Zoltek and Entec teamed together. With the filament winding experience of Entec and the carbon fiber manufacturing capabilities of Zoltek, this partnership allows us to provide customers with the complete solution for manufacturing composite parts.
Headquartered in St. Louis, MO, Zoltek Companies, Inc. develops and manufactures commercial carbon fiber for various industries, including but not limited to; wind energy, automotive, offshore drilling and sporting goods. Zoltek has three product lines of fiber; Panex35, Panex30 and Pyron.
Entec Composite Machines, A Zoltek Company, has over 50 years experience designing and manufacturing filament winding machinery. Originally established under the name Engineering Technologies, Entec Composite Machines was formed with the merger of CMC Machines after being aquired by Zoltek Corporation in 1999. Entec has supplied over 750 filament winding systems to customers worldwide.
