Skagit County, Washington King 5 News recently reported on the Washington State Department of Transportation’s artificial log jam project which is designed to provide habitat friendly bank protection. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) hired Cardno ENTRIX to provide services in support of Skagit River – State Road 20 Road Protection and Restoration, project that will protect the road, fish and provide a long-term solution to 1300 feet of in the wild and scenic Skagit River along State Route (SR) 20 between Rockport and Marblemount.
