E.A.R. Inc. (Insta-Mold Western Headquarters) was originally developed by Garry G. Gordon, M.S. (Audiologist) and his advisors to support the needs of major corporations attempting to comply with state and federal regulations regarding noise. E.A.R.'s initial assignments included working with the following accounts:Soon a key marketing team was formed that was to be responsible for distributing special instrumentation (audiometers, sound rooms, sound level meters and hearing protection systems, etc.) throughout a nine-state region.While these two endeavors took place, E.A.R. Inc. became involved with Dr. Sydney Gurshkov, chemist from Insta-Mold Products, Inc. where the two companies combined their professional talents to research, manufacture and internationally market high-grade silicones for the hearing industry.
