Environmental Crossings, Inc. (ECI) was incorporated in 1992 to service the rapidly growing natural gas transmission industry in Northern Michigan. The company has grown consistently from a start-up to a nationwide horizontal directional drilling (HDD) contractor by emphasizing innovative, quality solutions. The company’s administrative headquarters are in Traverse City, Michigan. It maintains its operations headquarters near Houston, in Conroe, Texas.

Environmental Crossings, Inc. was founded with the purpose of providing clients an alternative to conventional methods of placing product lines under streams, rivers, lakes, marshes, wetlands, beaches, estuaries, highways, railways, runways, sand dunes, protected habitats, and other sensitive areas. Our team has numerous years of experience involved in directional drilling with over 1000 HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) crossings, both domestic and international.
