What sets the Helix mower apart from other leading reel mowers? The Helix was designed with versatility in mind. We want to provide our customers with a great user experience. The Helix is light, but durable. It is rugged but sleek. The cutting system is precise and whisper quiet - no grinding or shearing, no metal on metal contact. Why is it called the Helix? Reel-style mowers have what can be called "Helical" blades. Kinda like a strand of DNA which forms a "Double Helix". The Helix has 5 blades, so one might call it the "Quintuple" Helix. We thought Helix was an appropriate name that is also fun to say! Is the cutting height adjustable? Yes. Whereas most reel mowers max out at 2"-2.5", The Helix cutting height has been extended to 3.5". Keep in mind that reel mowers cut best at about 2.5", but the higher cutting height is great for re-taming the lawn after a vacation.

The Helix EcoMower® is the result of EcoMowers’ wealth of experience in the environmental lawnmower market – selling, using, and servicing virtually all makes of push reel mowers. Remember the old-fashioned, heavy, manual push mowers which once revolutionzed the consumer lawn care industry at the turn of the 20th century (1900 to 1940s).
