TRUCKING: Whether you are disposing of waste oil or buying base oil, EMI has the transportation capabilities you need. EMI operates a fleet of transport trucks for the transportation needs of picking oil up or delivering oil to your facility. The power units are lease/contract operated, and the trailers are owned by EMI. We maintain the same power units and drivers throughout the year, In fact, most of the drivers have been exclusively with EMI for over 8 years.
Environmental Management of KC, Inc. (EMI) was founded in 1997 in Kansas City, Kansas. The purpose of EMI is to meet the needs of the utility industry and associated industries in handling their used, non-hazardous transformer oil. Instead of utilities viewing their used oil as a costly waste, EMI has changed the dynamics of this waste into a positive dollar commodity for the generator. At the same time, EMI has allowed the generator to reduce their carbon footprint by recycling the used oil for future reuse.
Our facility accepts any quality of transformer oil below 50 ppm PCB. The waste streams are segregated within the facility and handled according to all Federal and State regulations. EMI's transformer oil services combine a professional, quality control oriented staff with a state of the art facility to provide our clients with peace of mind concerning the handling of their used transformer oil.
