EPSON Worldwide Developer Relations Group commits to develop close relationships with the development communities (Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Independent Hardware Vendor (IHV)) to promote and gain support for EPSON imaging products and technologies. Our mission is to expand the markets in which EPSON participates by helping third party developers to provide the best solutions to our mutual customers. The EPSON documents and third party links available on this site are development aids for creating programs and drivers compatible with EPSON printers and scanners. For the programming guides, it is assumed that the reader understands basic concepts such as bytes, ASCII codes, commands, and parameters. It is also assumed that the reader can use a programming language or application program to send commands to the printer or scanner. The reader may also need to know the basic operations of printers and scanners. By following the recommendations within these manuals, your programs will allow EPSON printers and scanners to perform at the optimum levels that they were designed to operate.
