Description

The Epstein School is a Solomon Schechter Day School established in 1973 by Rabbi Harry H.Epstein and the visionary leaders of Ahavath Achim Synagogue in recognition of the need for a Conservative Jewish day school in Atlanta. The Epstein School serves students from age 2 years through 8th grade at our main campus in Sandy Springs, and children age 18 months through pre-kindergarten in our Intown campus at the Ahavath Achim Synagogue. While our ideology is Conservative, we are accepting of all and warmly welcome traditional, reform and orthodox families. The Epstein School is a proud beneficiary of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. In 2005, Epstein was identified as a US Department of Education Innovator and is one of only three Jewish day schools in the nation to be honored as a 2004 Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. Epstein graduates are prepared to become lifelong, independent learners and to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world. Our students consistently excel in the very best high schools and colleges of their choice. We use an integrated bilingual curriculum, combining innovative and traditional teaching methods, to create the finest academic and Judaic education for children from preschool through the eighth grade. Our award winning faculty and staff provide a nurturing, respectful and stimulating environment. ...
