Description

The Sajai Foundation is dedicated to working with local communities to educate children about how to live a healthier life by encouraging them to get outdoors, to get active and to make smart nutrition decisions. eQuality partners with Sajai in different 5K marathon and volunteers at Water Stops.

We provide vocational training and community skills to our associates by establishing community partnerships to provide employment and day programming to our associates. We also have an entrepreneurial project - eQuality Farms.

At several places of employment throughout the community, eQuality Pathways to potential has crews of six – eight associates along with a support staff that we call a job coach. We use this enclave model in local hotels, fitness centers, community centers and ice arenas along with a local factory. This model is contracted employment in which we meet the needs of the employer for an agreed upon dollar amount. With a crew of six – eight associates plus a job coach, we are able to perform the tasks of that full-time equivalent and many times we exceed those expectations.

Last week eQuality's Career Club had their first meeting at Firehouse Subs! On top of eating delicious food the members met with the owner Dustin. Dustin talked about being a business owner, what qualities he looks for in an employee and gave them advice on interviewing for a job. "The most important quality I look for when hiring someone is that they have a positive attitude. It is more important for an employee to come to work everyday with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn then to have years of experience in the field."- Dustin Thank you Dustin for being a great host!
