Over the past 5 years we have developed an unmatched engine program. We have partnered with the highest quality machine shop in the area and set up an organized engine assembly room in house. This allows us to provide our customers with the highest quality built engines on the market. All of our engines are carefully machined and then clearanced, blue printed, and assembled in house by our skilled engine assembly technician. This allows us to keep a very strict quality control practice on every engine we build and install.

With over 12 years of experience in software engineering and a great passion for his own cars, Ed found himself learning to tune in order to improve the performance of his car over 10 years ago. Soon friends within the enthusiast community were becoming happy customers, and the rest is history. After over 5 years of success as a one man operation, Ed decided to expand Equilibrium Tuning into a full service and R&D shop in Fairfield, CA. Since opening, the Equilibrium Tuning has experienced tremendous success in tuning, engine assembly, performance installation, and custom fabrication. Ed is always hard at work tuning, consulting with customers, and thinking up the next innovative product or service to offer to the community.

Sonya has a lot of experience in administration, sales, and customer service. As Ed's wife and business partner, she has been on board with EQ Tuning from the very beginning helping in everyway possible. She currently focuses on accounting and general customer service as well as keeping Ed efficient. She is always happy to jump in and help with whatever needs to be done.
