About Equity Insurance Agency (EIA), Inc. Equity Insurance Agency, Inc. was founded in 1988 by Tony Temesvary to provide, on a complimentary basis to mortgage corporations, homeowners insurance to mortgage clients. As the business developed, Temesvary expanded Equity Insurance Agency's product line into auto and small commercial accounts.In March 1994, Equity Insurance Agency merged with Rowland Enterprises, Inc. to form the present-day EIA. Rowland Enterprises founder Chuck Rowland and commercial insurance expert Bob Coyer brought more than 40 years of combined property and casualty experience to EIA.
