Description

Also in 2002, ESD acquired the Danyl Division of the SchlumbergerSema Corporation which manufactured a similar product line of electronic payment devices. This acquisition thrust ESD well into the lead of electronic payment system providers for the laundry industry. Today, ESD manufactures a very comprehensive line of cutting-edge smart card and magstripe card devices that are used in vended laundries and multi-housing locations throughout the world.

We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.

ESD has been at the forefront of the Multi-Housing Laundry industry for over 40 years. In the beginning we created revolutionary coinslides and money boxes that allowed a new level of security and flexibility to be added to a laundry room. These innovations are still in use today, however as society has evolved, so has ESD’s technology and expertise. Newer products allow for value to be stored onto a chip card, or for customers to use the cards they carry in their products to do the work that coins have done for so many years.

The ESD mechanical vended products family consists of two basic items, coin slides and money boxes. In addition, ESD manufactures a diverse assortment of accessories to complement these products. Those accessories include locks, keys, shafts and cams, T handles, extensions, brackets and plates, and tokens.

For over 40 years ESD has been a significant contributor to the success of the vended laundry industry. By constantly introducing and improving payment system products for laundry equipment, ESD has made it possible for laundry operators to grow the revenue stream of their business. From introducing the first vertical coin slide in the 1960’s, allowing a machine to accept more quarters to installing the first electronic payment system in a vended laundry in the 1990’s ESD has led the way in payment system solutions.
