Even Temp has been around since the 1950s. The name came from the effect that the business had on its customers- it specialized in installing insulation in new and existing homes. Seizing an opportunity in the sheetmetal fabrication business, Even Temp, Inc. began manufacturing parts for a wood burning stove company. Starting with nothing more than a few welders, Even Temp quickly grew into a full featured sheetmetal fabrication shop with state-of-the-art turret punch presses, press brakes, welders, and all the other equipment that goes along with them.Today, under the ownership of Johnson Gas Appliance Company, Even Temp, Inc. has grown into a multimillion-dollar custom sheetmetal fabrication, hearth products manufacturing, and hearth products distribution business.
