Can The Harlem Club really be an answer to what seems to be a prevalent problem for a vast number of African-Americans and Latinos, when it comes to finding a comparable partner? Today, there are a number of unconventional avenues to choose from, just so that people can simply meet for a potential date. But, even with these anarchistic paths, these single people still find it difficult to meet the quality instead of the quantity. The reality is that society teaches us that the power of a woman is contingent on her beauty and the power of a man is contingent on his financial success. Clearly, this reality should not be fully accepted and just embraced with indignity, but whom are we kidding. We live in a capitalistic country that will unapologetically breed individuals to take full advantage of any realities that exists. The Harlem Club seeks not only to remedy this clear and present dating dilemma, but to capitalize off of it, as well.
