We are a non-profit agency founded in 1986 that is dedicated to the empowerment and independence of people with disabilities, serving Lake and Porter counties as well as the rest of Indiana! The U.S. Department of Education funds Everybody Counts Center for Independent Living, based in Merrillville, as well as Indiana F.A.C.E.S. (Freedom, Access, Community, Empowerment and Support), whose staff targets unserved and underserved populations of people with disabilities throughout the state.
