Paul is a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor and Personal Trainer qualified through NASM. He has also been a practicing AIS therapist for over 3 years, having studied directly with the creator of AIS Aaron Mattes. He has treated clients with a whole range of physical dysfunctions from general stiffness to Parkinson's disease, Back pain, Sports Injuries, Sports preparation and many other postural problems caused by incorrect length tension relationship of muscles due to lack of or poor stretching techniques.
Chlake has been working in fitness for over 20 years, with various specialties such as Core Stability, cardio kickboxing, and aquatic fitness. In addition to her STOTT PILATES training in Mat, Reformer, and Injury & Special Populations, she is an injury and rehab specialist, Connecticut State Certified Strength Coach, and has a Certificate in Health Fitness. Her expertise includes fitness assessments and functional strength training. She specializes in fitness classes for specific populations. She teaches a wide variety of mat, apparatus, aerobic and water classes throughout the state.
Our course work has focused on rehabilitative exercises for many chronic and acute injuries, as well as safe and resourceful ways to adapt training for special needs. Our trainers come from diverse backgrounds with experience in sports, fitness, dance, nutrition, and breath work. Each brings a unique perspective on the Pilates Method to their sessions.
