Description
Whiskers was founded in 1982 by Joan Duer. Joan's love and concern for animals prompted her to open the Whiskers Thrift Shop. The profits from her sales paid for food, litter, and veterinary care for hundreds of stray, abandoned, and abused cats and dogs that Joan took in, cared for and ultimately adopted to good homes.
