History Timeline 1982 - Signet Sportswear, Inc. was founded as an independent corporation after many years embroidering logos on name brand, private label, domestically manufactured sweaters as an internal division of the Winona Knitting Mills. 1994 - Signet Sportswear was renamed Winona USA, Inc. 2000 - Winona USA was purchased by R. Neil Hamlin and Jack Gunnarson. Their 75 years of combined experience helped redirect the company by expanding our marketplace and product offering.
