Description

Excel Medical Electronics (EME) was founded in 1995 by former Marquette Medical Electronics engineers John Hoffman and Dr. Richard Crane. While at Marquette, Mr. Hoffman and Dr. Crane engineered systems such as exercise stress, cardiology management, patient monitoring and hemodynamic catheterization laboratories. Soon after EME was established, prestigious academic hospitals asked EME to develop software intended to acquire data from patient monitoring networks to meet the demands of researchers. The first generation of today’s BedMasterEx system was born.

EME's mission is a commitment to continue developing the most innovative and highest quality software technologies for today's clinicians and researchers. We are equally as focused on information technology innovation and design our products to support hospital demand for virtualization and clustering. Understanding the current adoption of electronic medical records (EMR) and challenging demographic trends, our software is developed with EMR integration in mind.

Established industry leader in medical device data acquisition, storage and distribution. We develop and constantly improve methods to collect physiological data from medical devices. Our solutions help researchers, physicians, nurses and biomeds to have a better look on patients in near realtime throughout hospital systems.
