Exceptional Family Resources

Description

Exceptional Family Resources (EFR) partners with individuals with disabilities and their families, providing services, information, advocacy and other supports to enhance lives and foster community acceptance. Supporting families whose sons or daughters have a disability. EFR began in 1978 when a group of parents united to provide information, support, advocacy and respite services to families whose sons or daughters have developmental disabilities. From those roots, we have branched out to a family centered, non-profit, multi-service agency with a staff of 31. We also use volunteers, providers and independent contractors to help provide direct services.
