Communities Actively Living Independent and Free (CALIF) strives to improve the policies and services that concern people with disabilities. CALIF works to empower the disability community, addressing discrimination, encouraging meaningful participation of persons with disabilities in mainstream activities, and providing core services that meet critical needs of persons with disabilities.
Skid Row Housing Trust’s Executive Director Mike Alvidrez decided to leverage a new fund development position into long-term change in his organization by enrolling in ESC’s Developing Development Program (DDP). An 18-month evidence-based course, DDP combines engaging, interactive classroom sessions with executive coaching to provide clients with the tools and support they need to grow the essential infrastructure for success and, most importantly, to foster a positive fundraising culture.

Age Well Senior Services (formerly South County Senior Services) is a nonprofit organization that provides resources for older adults to promote vitality and support independence. Since 1975, Age Well has been providing critical services, resources, and programs to the low-income seniors of South Orange County.

Most recently, Toberman participated in ESC’s Developing Development Program, an evidence-based program that helps organizations achieve fundraising success, primarily in individual giving. Developing Development is an 18-month program offered either individually or as part of a course with other agencies, using a defined structure combined with the flexible, focused guidance and implementation support that only one-on-one coaching can give.
