Expertise: Vocational Expert Witness - Worker Compensation: Experience as an expert for defense, plaintiff, and the Office of the Attorney General-Labor & Industries Division for Seattle, Tacoma, & Olympia Assistant Attorneys General. Perform review of medical, vocational, psychological or psychiatric records to determine injury related vs. non-injury related barriers to work. Analyze employment and/or personnel records, school records and/or transcripts, or other training records. Review deposition and interrogatory records.

Rich Berndt is a native of the south Puget Sound area. A graduate of Washington State University, he specializes in return to work with difficult cases, job analyses, life planning, and labor market research. His work is sought by insurance companies in the area of long term disability and service bureaus for return to work and retraining plans, and the Department of Labor and Industries for multiple services. Mr. Berndt has been active in many civic and service organizations since high school when he was elected as Governor of the Pacific Northwest District of Key Club International.
