Since 1938, Export-Import Services has served as the right arm of successful small and medium sized U.S. businesses doing business overseas.The father and son team of James F. Farrell Sr. and his son James F. Farrell, Jr. formed the business on the docks of New York City, when lower Manhattan's shoreline swelled with shipping vessels taking on their charge, and a small army of couriers rushed paperwork back and forth from the piers. In 1970, Export-Import Services became the first tenant to set up office in the World Trade Center, on the tenth floor.In 1990, leaving the Telex, Teletype and typewriter machines behind, the company moved headquarters to Woodbridge, the heart of New Jersey's high-tech hub. From here, the company is led by the third and fourth generations of the Farrell family, who strive to maintain the company's high standards.
