The Eye Center for Animals has been offering comprehensive veterinary ophthalmic medicine and surgery in Louisiana and surrounding areas since 1996. Our New Orleans state-of-the-art facility opened in 2001. Dr. Paul da Costa, a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist, founded the Eye Center for Animals and provided eye clinics in Lafayette, New Orleans, Covington, Shreveport, Alexandria, and Lake Charles. His services include treatment and surgery for cataracts, glaucoma, and diseases of the eyelids, conjunctiva, cornea, lens, retina, and orbit. Patients include dogs, cats, exotic animals, wildlife, and some large animals.
