For over 45 years, FBC Chemical has distributed specialty and commodity chemicals to manufacturers in the northeastern United States. We've done this through making customer service and personal attention our number one goal. When you become a customer of FBC, you will get your own customer service representative who will get to know you and the unique services needed to help make your company a success. We'll work with you on all aspects of your business, whether that means stocking specialized inventory, helping you to formulate new products, or on-demand delivery.

FBC is a full service independent chemical distributor with operations in Lancaster, New York, Mars, Pennsylvania, and Medina, Ohio. Our focus is on “just-in time” delivery of drums and bulk products. Service, technical assistance, local inventories, product development, and personal selling are top priorities. Our motto: “Your chemistry is our business,” sets the tone for partnering arrangements between our suppliers and our customers. FBC owns and operates its own warehouses, manufacturing sites, and fleet of trucks and tankers.

On this page, our goal is to keep our customers up to date on price movements in the chemical industry. Our aim is to provide you with a quick, convenient look at shifting prices and supply issues so you can more effectively manage your inventory and timing for your purchases. Our focus here will be on timely reporting of chemical trends over 100% accuracy. Where we feel that a rumored increase is unlikely to happen, we will indicate that below.

We realize that to provide the level of service our customers expect, we need to continually reinvest in our plants and equipment. FBC has three locations to serve customers throughout the North East. All three locations have drumming equipment for efficiently receiving and repackaging bulk deliveries.

FBC was founded in 1967 by Lad Hudac and Lawrence Hitchcock in Pittsburgh, PA. Our Lancaster, NY plant was added in 1975. FBC acquired Asphalt Products in 1982, Cuyahoga Chemical in 1999, and ALCM in 2006. Today, FBC Chemical employs over 70 people throughout its chemical distribution and asphalt manufacturing operations.
